We continue today on our subject, Make Progress.
We mentioned two ways to make progress in our last service. We would be going further.
Thie third is, improve yourself. Praise God!
Don't stay af one level of information. What you have known for ages shouldn't be what you still know. Go for knowledge. You have started out with the knowledge of the Word, go for knowledge about what you do, knowledge about your work. Improve yourself, learn new skills, keep abreast with the facts and the latest. This helps you measure up with others.
Don't remain where you are, waiting for new informations, go for it and when you find it, learn it. Be ahead in what you do. Hallelujah!
God has given you a sound mind so when you read, the wisdom and understanding of God is available to guide you coupled with the sound mind that you have.
Don't compete with others, you are not in the same level with others. Compete only with your past and outdo it. Hallelujah! You have no rival. Your rival is your past, you must be better than yesterday. Don’t struggle with your past, outdo it. That is progress. Your today should be better than your yesterday and your tomorrow better than your today.
This is how to have a great life, looking forward to great future. You know how your future would be like because you are on the path of the just, that path that can only get better.
So it doesn't matter the challenges, they are only stepping stones. Don’t look at the pebbles, look at Jesus. The Bible says,
"Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith..." Hebrews 12:2
He is the one to help you in your faith for a greater future. Hallelujah!
Be who God has called you to be. Find out what you are called and answer it, until you do, you cannot live that way. Your ability is in the name that God gives you. The revelation of your ability is in your name. Hallelujah!
Abraham’s name was changed from Abrsm to Abraham which means father of many. That name described him correctly according to what God had told him.
What name has God called you? Do you know it? Are you answering it?
Don’t answer a name that God hasn't given you, you would be living another person's life that way. That person has his or her destiny and you have yours. So live your destiny by answering your name.
God introduces Himself through His Names. Praise God! The same applies to you!
If God has called you a success, answer it.
If God has called you a victor, answer it.
As you do, you'll find your life in these directions. Hallelujah!
After the service today, get to the Bible and find out the names God has called you and begin to call yourself those names.
Some of them are;
A chosen generation
A royal priesthood
A holy nation
A peculiar people
A king
A new creation
Search for more and call yourself what God has called you. Praise God!
These are the things that put you on the path of perpetual progress.
Isaiah 1:19 TLB says,
"If you will only let me help you, if you will only obey, then I will make you rich!
Only God can give you true and lasting riches. Allow Him help you. Praise God! He'll bring you into His unsearchable and unfathomable riches with His manifold wisdom. He can take you 10 steps in one minute. One phone call can make the difference in your life. You can trust Him. Trust Him with your finances, and with every area of your life.
What do you do with money? Does money locate you? Does it know your address?
You ought to channel your monies as you get it into the Kingdom. That is why it came to you, for Kingdom purpose. Before it comes, you know what you want to do with it. Money for partnership! Hallelujah!
Don't be stagnant in your life and don't move back either, move forward. Where people see you today shouldn't be where they meet you tomorrow. Always make progress beyond your current level.
Today is partnership, are your ready to make progress in your finances? If yes, then take a special partnership seed beyond your normal partnership. Thank God for it, speak in tongues over it and get ready to give it.
You seed is connected to you, it also represents you. You should know what you are doing when you give. So be sure that God doesn't joke with you as a giver. When you tie your seed to anything, be sure of your miracle.
