PRAYER
Lord, we thank you for your Word coming to us. Our hearts and minds are open and ready to receive and we receive it mixing it with faith from your Word in Jesus' Mighty Name. Amen.
Welcome to Church! I believe you have be doing greatly and also winning.
How do you worship and fellowship with God? How do you praise Him?
It's not enough to sing songs to God and be full of the Spirit. It's important that as we do all these, we also learn to lift up our hands to God.
Many of the miracles you have been expecting are yet to manifest themselves because you haven't offered the sacrifice of lifting up your hands to God.
Your hands are holy, this alone already qualified you to lift them up. Lifting up your hands is one of our ways of fellowshipping with the Father. You express yourself to God through prayer, praise and worship as you lift up your hands.
Some Christians live dull lives as they don't know how to worship God or express themselves to Him.
Turn to 1 Timothy 2:8. It says,
"I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting."
This shows the mind of the Spirit regarding lifting up your hands. It is an important part of fellowshipping with the Spirit. You lift up holy hands without wrath an doubting.
Without wrath, meaning, if you have an issue with someone else, settle it first before coming to worship God. Also, you must lift up your hands without doubt in your heart! Hallelujah!
You shouldn't be found with these two, wrath and doubt as you worship God, they don’t allow the flow of the Spirit, they hinder you. They don't work with lifting up your hands to God. Even you, know there is how your prayer would go when you are in dispute with someone else and you come trying to fellowship with God and then you lift up your hands.
Your fellowship should be a free flow to help the anointing flow and work on your behalf and thereby producing your desired miracle. Praise God!
In the book of Psalms, the Bible says,
"Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto thee, when I lift up my hands toward thy holy oracle." Psalms 28:2.
You can be sure of answers to your prayers when you pray like this.
The Psalmist also says in Psalm 64:4
"Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name."
This means, we lift up our hands in His Name! Hallelujah!
When we pray, we pray in the Name of Jesus, when we lift up our hands, we lift them up in His Name. Whatsoever we do in His Name never fails. So as you lift up your hands in His Name, you can be rest assured of your desires, they are all met! Hallelujah!
You can lift up your hands anywhere to worship, whether in Church, at home, in school or your work place, anywhere. Don't feel as though you are being very spiritual when you lift up your hands outside Church, it's old-fashioned to think that way. You ought to be bold about who you are, your identity. When you say, I know who I am, this is it. Praise God!
The lifting up of your hands is an offering to God. Still in the book of Psalms, the Bible says,
"Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice." Psalms 141:2.
When you lift up your hands, you are offering up sacrifices to God, they go up to Him as an offering to Him.
The power of lifting up our hands to God cannot be overemphasized. It can change hopeless situations, it can restore your marriage, put food on your table, pay your bills, pay your fees....
When you lift up your hands to God, you set your mind on Him alone, taking your mind off every distraction and setting it on Him alone. This brings the power of God to bear on the situation on ground and causes your miracle to be released. Hallelujah!
This is for any kind of situation, it's power is unlimited!
Are you going through any situation today, it's time to lift up those hands to God in fellowship and total worship, so that the power of God can be released on that situation. Get your heart and your spirit focused on the Spirit and take off every distraction and be sure of your desired miracle today!
Lift up your hands now and speak in tongues!
