Pastor Cheri
Welcome to today's service.
We will be learning about our words today.
Words are very powerful. Your words have the ability to make or marr you. Your words can create or destroy. It can build and scatter. Hallelujah!
The Bible says, "Death and life are in the power of the tongue..."Proverbs 18:21
Your words can either give life or give death.
Our salvation came through words. You had to confess what you believed. Romans 10:9-10.
Verse 10 of Romans 10 says,
"For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
Your mouth gave you salvation. Hallelujah!
Words created the universe. God spoke, and it became. Genesis 1.
Just like God, we can create our own world with our words because we were made in God's image and likeness, which means, to look like Him and to function like Him.
Your mouth was given to you to place yourself in that beautiful life that God has called you to live. So you must use your mouth well.
Talk right.
Your words describe you. It tells who you are. Your character is expressed in words.
Do people know you to speak well? Do they hear Jesus when you speak? Learn to speak wholesome words, words that build and not break, words that make alive. Praise God.
Don't talk anyhow.
There is no such thing as, "words I didn’t mean."
When you say words like, "Don’t kill me," or "I don't have money," and afterwards say you didn’t mean them, it's not right, because the Bible says that, you shall give account of every idle Word that you speak.
But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. Matthew 12 verse 36.
So, you should watch what you say, watch what comes out of your mouth. Don't talk carelessly.
When you have God’s Word stored up in you, you will only speak the Word.
Matthew 12:34 "...for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh...."
Have a reservoir of God’s Word in you. Praise God!
Don't always say what you see, but what you want to see. Stop confessing negative words.
The reason many have found themselves in awkward situations and circumstances in life is because of the wrong confessions they've been making.
They are living in lack and want because they said "I don't have."
"I said that because that is the situation I'm in right now."
We don't talk that way. We talk like people from Zion. There is a way we communicate.
"The Lord is my Shepherd, therefore I refuse to lack, I am rich, I'm a king, I m a reigning king, I'm royalty." This is Zion talk. Talk like someone from there. Praise God.
Your future is in your mouth. Your faith-filled words keep you in victory!
It doesn’t matter the situation you are in now, when you begin to declare God’s Word, that situation will be turned around and you'll come out a victor. Hallelujah! You can cause that change with your mouth. Keep yourself in perpetual victory through faith-filled words.
Your words are anointed and carry power. Anything you say comes to pass.
Mark 11 verse 23 says,
"For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which He saith shall come to pass; He shall have whatsoever He saith."
The devil isn't sitting down, watching everyone. He is looking for whom to devour. So you ought to be ready for him at any time.
1 Peter 5:8 says,
"Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom He may devour:"
When he comes with his wiles and stratagems, you come with Rhema. Rhema is the specific Word for you in the now for that situation.
You've been feeding your spirit man with logos, getting excited and informed. This continued to build your Spirit man until that Rhema Word was released, the now Word was released from the spirit-realm. Hallelujah! It conquered the situation. Praise God!
You cannot be defeated with Rhema, it only one outcome and that's victory! Glory to God!
In Mark 11:14, Jesus spoke to a fig tree, and it dried up from it's roots, He spoke to the sea, and it became calm, He spoke to blind eyes, the deaf, the dumb, the maimed, and they all obeyed Him. Hallelujah! You too can do the same.
Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as He is, so are we in this world. 1 John 4:17
What do you want to change? The power is in your mouth. Speak to that situation and it will obey you. It doesn’t matter what it is. You can take a quick look again at the things Jesus did. He told us,
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall He do also; and greater works than these shall He do; because I go unto my Father.
John 14 verse 12
So what do you want to change? You can go ahead right now and cause that change. Speak to it, tell it how you want it to be. It will obey you.
The sea obeyed Jesus, the situation will obey you. There is power to cause changes in your mouth, speak!
When you speak, the things around you will hear what you said, the air, the walls, the cupboard, everything around will hear. Praise God!
There is power in your words. Your words are not ordinary! Hallelujah!
You may say, "I talked to it yesterday, today I didn't see anything." Don’t stop talking, keep talking! When you talk, something happens. You may not see it, but it happened. Then you talk again, something happens, then you talk again, something happens, before long, you begin to see it, you see things falling in place, you get the phone call and it's positive, you get to Doctor, and he can't believe what is going on, your bank accounts begin to restructure, and before long it's a victory story.
If you've been living this way, you say, it's another victory again! Hallelujah!
No down life for you.
People say they are down. When they say such things, ask them "What is happening there? What are you doing there, I'm up and not down, I don’t even know how it looks like anymore."
Use words that are consistent with what God has said about you in His Word.
Speak faith-filled words words of love, hope, health, prosperity, success and victory all the time.
Write down the things you want to see in your family, health, job, academics, marriage, any area you need a change and keep declaring them to yourself.
Declare God’s Word over your life everyday.
Take charge of your life with your faith-filled words. Praise God.
Lift those hands in worship to God right now, declaring faith-filled words.
Speak in tongues now.
