We have been brought into God’s Kingdom as Christians, we ought to function properly with accurate knowledge of who God is and how we should live.
Many people have had different perceptions of God. Even with the Bible before them, they still make assumptions of things that are clearly seen and written in the Word. They speed-read their Bibles, some cling to what others have said which they think is in the Bible and walk by it.
You must learn to study the Word for yourself. This would help you greatly especially during soul winning. You can show your prospective converts from the Word and get them convinced of these truths. Hallelujah!
Also, as you study, do it with the Holy Ghost so He can bring you understanding. Hallelujah!
God never takes what He has given to you at any point in time in your life. Be it family, friends and loved ones, your job, money, business,.. God never takes these things from you. He gave them to you and it's for good."The Bible says, For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance." Romans 11:29.He hasn't given them to you to take it back later or maybe, take it back when He is angry with you or what you have done.
He doesn't take it back to make you humble. If so, why did He give it to you in the first place? He would have left you that way to keep you humble. Hallelujah! He wants you humble so He needs to do it to keep you that way. But that is not God. He can make you humble if He wants to, any other way and not with that kind of discipline.
The popular scripture tied to the statement "God has given and God has taken," is in the book of Job 1:21. It says,"And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD."This statement was made by Job. Moreover before that time, He had these fears in that direction. Job said this in Job 3:25. It says,"For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me." Hallelujah! The Bible says in Proverbs 23:7,"For as He thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith He to thee; but his heart is not with thee."This is what brought about all that happened to Job but thank God he got all he lost back.
God never takes what He has given you even if you misuse it. All He does, He gives others the same thing and increases theirs and you are left at the same level. Praise God!
So if God has blessed you, rejoice and be glad about it, tell every one, testify about it to others. "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death." Revelation 12:11.Don't keep quiet or try to say it somehow, saying, "Incase God takes it away later." No! That is not God. Tell the world about it, tell the world all He has done. Your testimony would silence the adversary. Hallelujah! And it would give God glory. Praise the Lord!
Next time you hear such a statement, "God has given and God has taken away," share this message with them. The Bible says,"...but through knowledge shall the just be delivered." Proverbs 11:9.And not just delivered, but delivered into their inheritance. Hallelujah!
