Our heart is very important when it comes to the things of God, the things of the Spirit. Your heart here is your spirit. What you store up in it really matters. You should not store up the wrong information or informations that are not beneficial to your spirit-man.
The things that come out of you are things you have stored up over time in you.
Turn to Proverbs 4:20-27."My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee. Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee. Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established. Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil."
God has made our lives easy by giving and making available to us His Word. You have what to think on 24/7, the Word. Keep it in the midst of your heart. Praise God!
Do not speak words thst are contrary to the Word, perverse talks. If you allow those wrong informations, it would lead to this kind of talk. Hallelujah!
Turn to Psalm 15:1-2. It says,"Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill? He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart."
What does it mean to speak the truth in your heart? Does it mean to say the truth and not allow a lie in your heart?"Truely, I didn't do it." You just said the truth but that is not the truth we are talking about here.
Turn to John 17:17. It says,"Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth."
Truth is the Word!
So when the Word talks about speaking the truth in your heart, it means speaking the Word in your heart. Praise God! And how do you do this? By meditating on the Word. You meditate on the Word, ponder on it, mutter it, in your heart. Hallelujah!You don't allow thoughts of fear and unbelief, in your heart. You keep brooding over the Word and all that it has said concerning you. Hallelujah!
When you dwell on the Word this way, it brings alive your faith. Remember, Hebrews 11:6 says, we cannot please God without faith. A man or woman without faith cannot please God. The following statement in that verse is so beautiful."..for He that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him."Your trust and belief in Him does not go unrewarded. Hallelujah! This is why you should dispel fear and unbelief, put your trust in Him, He never fails, He always keeps to His Word. Praise God!
So you speak the truth, the Word in your heart. Let the Word get into you and control your thinking processes.
This is what brings progress and promotion in your life. The Bible says,"Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all." 1 Timothy 4:15.
For your progress to be seen by those around you, you have meditate on God's Word, give yourself completely to it.
This kind of progress cannot be stopped. It came from the Word and it is piloted by the Word, piloted by the wisdom of the Word. Hallelujah! You can't stand against it in any way. Praise God!
Without the Word in you, you cannot achieve much. To shine in a crooked and perverse world, you need the Word in you."For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. Do all things without murmurings and disputings: That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;" Philippians 2:13-15.
God and His Word are one. The Word works in you both to will and to do. It causes you to live by the Word and according to the Word. You cannot miss it this way. You allow the Word, full control over you, this way you find yourself flying higher and higher. Hallelujah!
Speak the Word in your heart today and let it gain ascendancy over all that pertains to you.
