Your mouth was not given to you just for for eating and drinking or for cursing people, it was given to you to chart the course of your life.Your mouth can either make you or mar you. It can take you up or bring you down. It can put clothes on your back or remove the ones that are already there.Where you are today, is as a result of what you said yesterday.Your mouth is a very important instrument in your body. When you can control your mouth, control your tongue, you can control your life.
Turn to James 3 verses 4 to 6"Behold also the ships, which though they be so great, and are driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor listeth.Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell."
As small as the tongue is, it can do wonders.Don’t talk anyhow, what you say is what you get. Hallelujah!
Your tongue can take you either to heaven or hell.Your tongue brought you salvation. The Bible says,"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10 verses 9 to 10.
If you didn’t say anything, you wouldn't have received salvation. The talk, the confession, brought you salvation.
Don't joke with your words. The Bible says,"But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment." Matthew 12 verse 36.
You should only say things that are consistent with the Word.So, what have you been saying?When you talk right, you'll live right and act right. Praise God!
Some people are known for negative speaking, that should not be you. You should not be found with Words that are inconsistent with God’s Word.The Words that lift and make you what God has told you, are only found with the Word.The Word is what pilots your life so you must keep declaring it, keep saying it. The more you say it, the more you become what it says, what it talks about.
Your life and all that pertains to it, should never be found outside the environs of the Word.Let the Word dominate your thinking and saturate you such that you cannot only but speak it.When you you are full of the Word, you speak it."...for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh." Matthew 12 verse 34"What you are full of, you speak. You should be full of the Word at all times.
Just like Joshua 1 verse 8 has said, don’t let the Word depart out of your mouth. Keep saying it! Hallelujah!
Many are in hardships today as a result of what they have been saying you don't belong there.There is a happy and fulfilling life planned for you, follow it.
You should be known everywhere and anywhere, as a talker, a talker of the Word. Those who are that way, never go down, it's one direction only for them, upward and forward, and this is talking about you. Your life is upward and forward. You can go ahead and say it to yourself.
If there is something you want to change, cause that change by speaking forth the Word. Whether in your job, business, finances, family, academics,..., you can cause that change right now with your declarations. Hallelujah!
