There is a peace that comes from God that no man can give to you.
A lot of people have been searching for a way to live a fulfilled and balanced life. Some do so unconsciously while some, consciously. They know the kind of life they are in, and need peace to be able to stay happy.
Every man that comes into this world, comes in with a heart in search for the Creator. he wants God, he needs God. There is this yearning to know Him.When he finds God, he immediately knows his search is over. There is this release in his spirit, he becomes free in his spirit and mind. A fresh atmosphere surrounds him immediately and He knows he has found what he has been looking for.This is the reason God made available the Gospel, so that man can find God. He brings the Gospel to him in different ways especially when he is a good person.Some think when they are very good, they have arrived.
There are people that are very good and nice, before you ask, they have given you. They are willing to help you at any point in time.What God does for these kind of people, He begins to position them around the Gospel. He could send a flier, put them where they can hear a message, guides them to someone who can bring the Gospel to them. God never leaves them. He does so with them throughout.
There is a very good example in the Bible. A man named Cornelius. Let's go there.Acts Chapter 10, from verse 1 to 6.There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian band,A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway.He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of God coming in to him, and saying unto him, Cornelius.And when He looked on him, He was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And He said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God.And now send men to Joppa, and call for one Simon, whose surname is Peter:He lodgeth with one Simon a tanner, whose house is by the sea side: He shall tell thee what thou oughtest to do.
Notice what the Angel said "Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God." From verse 2, we can see that he was a good man, "A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway." But he wasn't born again.
If you read the rest of the story, you'll find he received salvation through Peter. Hallelujah!
Being good and nice wouldn't bring you the peace that comes with salvation. Your heart, your spirit will constantly crave for God until you receive Him.
People search for this peace in the wrong places which hasn't helped them much. They use the wrong means and methods just to experience this peace.
You shouldn't try different ways and methods to get peace. This is why it is called the peace of God. It is the peace that passes understanding.And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4 Chapter 7.
You are at peace, but can't explain how, you are so joyful, inspite of the troubles and hardships around. When men are cast down, you are saying there is lifting up, in the midst of so much noise, you are at peace. How can you explain such peace?It's not coming from man, it's from God. Only God gives such peace. Hallelujah!
Also, He has made us distributors of His peace. Wherever we are, there is peace, we distribute it around us.If you are anywhere there is trouble, distribute the peace of God. Stand up and say, "There is peace here, no trouble!" Hallelujah!Exude that peace to everything and everyone. This is evidence that a child of God is present. Hallelujah! You are demonstrating your Christianity this way.When people find this kind of atmosphere with you, they stay around you, and of course, they would want to receive salvation. Hallelujah!
This is the constant atmosphere of the child of God. The God of peace is Lord over our lives. Hallelujah! So we don't look for peace outside, it's with us. Praise God!
We will take out some time now, for 15mins, pray in the Holy Ghost, declaring peace around you, your job, work, business, academics, family, the nation where you live and surrounding nations, all that pertains to you... Hallelujah!Declare peace right now! We are peace distributors!
Make these declarations;"I carry peace everywhere I go!""The God of Peace is Lord over my life!""I live in peace!""I distribute peace!""And I distribute it even now!""I distribute peace in my job, work, business, academics, family, this nation and it's surroundings and all that pertains to me!""Thank you Jesus, for you peace reigns in the earth!""Hallelujah!"
