In our message, 3 kinds of wisdom, Pastor taught us on 3 kinds of wisdom.
Sophia, Sunesis and Phronesis.
Sophia is theoretical wisdom, sunesis is critical wisdom and phronesis is practical wisdom
Sophia is divine insight into reality. In 1 Corinthians 1 verse 30, the Bible let's us know that Christ has been made unto us wisdom. This wisdom is called Sophia.
Pastor says, it's the collective understanding of things.
You find out you have so much understanding of things.
This is what Christ is to us. You know what to do, how to proffer solutions. You are able to solve mysteries.
Sophia is an insight into mysteries.
You have perfect understanding, beyond the books. Hallelujah!
With this kind of wisdom, you can teach something without ever learning it. This is because, it has been understood by your spirit, You are actually explaining from your spirit.
Remember, it’s a collective understanding of things, these things have been put together in your spirit.
Turn to 2 Kings 4 verse 38 to 40
And Elisha came again to Gilgal: and there was a dearth in the land; and the sons of the prophets were sitting before him: and He said unto his servant, Set on the great pot, and seethe pottage for the sons of the prophets.
And one went out into the field to gather herbs, and found a wild vine, and gathered thereof wild gourds his lap full, and came and shred them into the pot of pottage: for they knew them not.
So they poured out for the men to eat. And it came to pass, as they were eating of the pottage, that they cried out, and said, O thou man of God, there is death in the pot. And they could not eat thereof.
But He said, Then bring meal. And He cast it into the pot; and He said, Pour out for the people, that they may eat. And there was no harm in the pot.
Something happened here, Elisha did something to the poisoned food. He added flour to the pottage, and it got the poison harmless. Hallelujah! The poison longer had any effect. He did this with Sophia.
Also when an axe head fell Into the river, Elisha made it float.
2 Kings 6 verses 5 to 7
But as one was felling a beam, the axe head fell into the water: and He cried, and said, Alas, master! for it was borrowed.
And the man of God said, Where fell it? And He shewed him the place. And He cut down a stick, and cast it in thither; and the iron did swim.
Therefore said he, Take it up to thee. And He put out his hand, and took it.
This he also did with Sophia. A collective understanding of things.
In John 9 verses 1 to 7, we see the Master Himself displaying Sophia. It says,
And as Jesus passed by, He saw a man which was blind from his birth.
And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that He was born blind?
Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.
I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.
As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.
When He had thus spoken, He spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and He anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay,
And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing.
He knew what to do. He had Sophia Hallelujah! The creator of the earth, made him new eyes. Glory! He made the world, He created man, so He knew what to do. Praise God!
This same Sophia is in you today. Christ is your Sophia. You should never not know what to do. You have Sophia. Get that wisdom in you working. It's there already, you don’t search for it, just bring it forth.
Always say to yourself,
"I have the wisdom of God working in me.
I have it.
It's in my spirit!
It's in my soul!
It controls my mind!"
Hallelujah!
You have wisdom.
Speak in ther tongues for 5mins
The Word of God, is the wisdom of God. You should therefore meditate on the Word at all times.
God gives you sophia so you can have sunesis, for the purpose of developing in you phronesis.
In your place of work, job or even in the midst of other people, get Sophia displayed as you proffer solution to any challenge. The wisdom of God at work in you is for you to bless others with, so use it. Hallelujah!
You have the wisdom to make that company tops.
You have the wisdom to make that business grow.
You have the wisdom to be the best in that exam.
Christ is your wisdom. With this wisdom, you cannot be defeated.
It is exactly correct! Hallelujah! No errors! Praise God!
